my story

A young man with light brown hair and blue eyes smiling outdoors with mountains and trees in the background, illuminated by sunlight.

Jon didn't choose the unconventional path. Life pushed him onto it.

Sport was everything growing up — soccer and basketball defined him through high school and university. Then a torn ACL and a Crohn's diagnosis stopped it all. For the first time, he had to ask the question most men never slow down to face: who am I without this?

What followed was a radical journey — deep into his body, his mind, and eventually to Peru for an ayahuasca experience that changed everything. He healed his Crohn's naturally, came off his medication, and learned firsthand what it costs to ignore what your body and instincts are telling you.

That's what he brings to every session.

Jon is deeply intuitive, radically honest, and genuinely curious about what makes people tick. He doesn't tell you what to do — he asks the question nobody else thought to ask, in a space where there is no judgment and no performance required.

When he's not coaching, Jon is assistant coaching basketball at VIU, hiking the mountains and forests of Vancouver Island, and raising his daughter with his wife. He's an outdoor guide and nature photographer — usually somewhere off the beaten path.
